Product Description
The new Tamiya CLIC LOC series welcomes the Porsche 911 Carrera RS 2.7 into its expanding line up of cement free model kits. The parts in the kit are molded in the right color, so you do not have to paint! Also, the number of parts is about half of that seen in current Tamiya 1/24 Sports Car Series kits. Each kit can be finished in about two to three hours!
About the Porsche 911 Carrera RS 2.7
For over 50 years since its release in 1964, the Porsche 911 series have enjoyed a special place among sports cars. The Porsche Carrera RS 2.7 is a legend of the Porsche 911 series. Developed to join European GT races in 1973, it employed a 2,687cc horizontally opposed 6-cylinder engine capable of 210hp, a lightweight body with improved aerodynamics, and wide rear tires. This car stands out as a masterpiece even in Porsche’s long history.
FEATURES:
• 1/24 scale plastic model snap-together assembly kit (no cement needed) Length: 173mm, width: 74mm, height: 53mm.
• The interior is recreated by one bathtub-shape part and can be attached to body to eliminate gap between interior and body.
• The chassis underside is realistically recreated.
• The ducktail is faithfully recreated by slide molding techniques.
• Front lights are depicted by parts and stickers (assembly steps : black base part-metallic stickers-clear parts-clear orange and red stickers).
• Features steerable front wheels.
• Wipers are integrated into one part for ease of assembly.
• 51 parts and 8 sprues (4 colors & clear for Item 28103 / 3 colors & clear for Item 28104) in total.
• No painting needed.
• Item 28103 (white body) uses metal-plated wheel rim and red wheel spoke parts.
• Item 28104 (red body) uses metal-plated wheel rim and wheel spoke parts.
• Metal-plated parts for sections such as window frames and side mirror
• Transparent window and light parts
• Metallic and clear stickers are included for features such as “Carrera” logo. Each model has dedicated stickers.
