    Product Description

    This R/C assembly kit depicts the BMW 318iSTW as it raced in the Super Touring Car Cup series in the mid-1990’s. The race car was built on the legendary E36-generation of BMW’s iconic 3-series sedan platform. The kit is a limited production rerelease that is paired with the fun and easy to build TT-01 Type E chassis. For this edition, the kit has updated markings, and window masking tape for the body painting process.
    Evolved Chassis
    The bathtub frame of the evolved shaft-driven 4WD TT-01 Type-E has its motor and battery close to the ground for lower center of gravity and best balance. Mounted on the bathtub frame is a fiberglass reinforced nylon upper deck and gear covers improving rigidity, as well as a 3-piece tie rod providing smooth steering action. The low center of gravity, highly balanced design, 4-wheel double wishbone suspension system, and front and rear differential gears all come together to produce an excellent 4WD on road running. A host of Hop-Up Option parts are available to further enhance the performance of this easy to build chassis.
    • 1/10 scale R/C model assembly kit. Length: 445mm, width: 310mm, height: 238mm. Wheelbase: 257mm (standard).
    • 1mm thick polycarbonate body with white ABS parts to depict rear wing and side mirrors.
    • The bathtub frame of the evolved shaft-driven 4WD TT-01 Type-E has its motor and battery close to the ground for lower center of gravity and best balance.
    • White mesh type wheels are paired with racing slick tires.
    • Includes 540-Type Torque Tuned motor and ESC.
    • Required to complete: 2-channel radio, steering servo, 7.2-7.4volt battery with compatible charger and Tamiya PS paints.
