Product Description
When Iraq invaded Kuwait in August 1990, the U.S. Navy, centered on an aircraft carrier fleet, quickly responded and deployed to the Persian Gulf and the Red Sea. In addition to its main mission of fleet air defense, F-14 fighters also play an active role in attack squadron escort. When enemies heard the radar sound emitted by the F-14, they escaped without taking hostile action, and the U.S. Navy F-14 could not achieve great results in this Gulf War.
This model kit from Fine Molds includes decals from the VF-32 "Swordsmen" and VF-102 "Diamondbacks" that participated in the Gulf War, and also included is the marking of the aircraft that shot down the MiG-23 in Libya in the Sidra Bay Incident battle.Â
