This range replaces the earlier 15mm sci fi range from Peter Pig.
As with the old range, these figures are intended to be used with "The Company Rules" (TCR).
TCR is also being updated to a second edition. The first edition was released in 1993.
The figures are categorised as Praetorian (best), Legionary (middle) and Auxiliary (worst).
Of course the very nature of science fiction gaming means that these figures can be used in any way wished. Quite right too.
In the same manner players can use any figures they like for TCR games.
Equipment
The legionary and auxiliary figures are armed in the same way. i.e. A gun. TCR is based upon plausible futures and does not follow a King Arthur and Merlin in space with swords and magic direction.
All the figures are based upon humans. There are no 1.7m tall air breathing men with hands, feet plus a funny head.
The auxiliaries are sculpted as robots. The robots have similar "outlines" to the humans so that they can use the same equipment.
The legionaries have power packs that give them a limited flight ability.
The Praetorians are very special. These men are inside a carapace style suit . The limbs are all robotic (makes them easier to replace) and no part of the human extends beyond this carapace.
The limbs on the Praetorian figures are intended to be:- arms in the top holes, legs in the bottom holes and weapon arm in either central hole (plug for the other hole supplied). In addition, a piece of wire is supplied so the Praetorian can be modelled in flight.
