Gundam Aerial's chest Shell unit can be built with either the tampographed or the blank piece.
- The blank piece can be applied with one of the two double-sided stickers (default, shined). This is a one-way method, so choose wisely.

The head can swivel/pivot on a ball-and-socket/hinge neck joint.
The torso can slightly tilt frontward/backwards or sideways.
The shoulder joints can swing frontward.
The arms can...
- Swivel on a ball-and-socket joint.
- Raise horizontally.
The upper arms can rotate.
Elbow joints can be bent up to 130 degrees.
The manipulators can swivel on a ball-and-socket joint.
The waist area can rotate 360 degrees.
The upper thighs can...
- Swing frontward/backward on a peg-and-socket joint.
- Raise horizontally.
- Rotate on each piece.
The knees are double-jointed.
The ankles can pivot/tilt.

Any of the weapons can be wielded by either of the hand parts.
Beam Saber hilts can be optionally removed from the backpack as handheld weapons.
Beam Rifle can...
- Mount with the Beam Blade effect.
- Combine with the 2 grey Bit Staves to form the GUND-BIT Rifle.
The Escutcheon can...
- Mount onto any of the forearms via an adapter, though the default position is on the left.
- Detach into individual Bit Staves for individual display.
  - The Bit Staves can also mount onto the Gundam Aerial.
The Beam Rifle can also mount onto the backpack via an adapter.
Gundam Aerial can mount onto any Action Bases (sold separately).

For better results, some or most of the details are needed to be applied with Gundam Markers or Mr. Color paints.
Topcoat (Mr. Hobby recommended) can be used to protect applied stickers and if any, marking decals and/or painted details.
- If using matte/flat-finish top coat, it is advisable not to spray on the translucent parts - can be done by masking or spraying top coat while the said parts are separated.
The Gundam Aerial-exclusive sticker sheet from the HGTWFM MSJ-121 Demi Trainer (YOASOBI Collaboration Ver.) can be applied onto this Gunpla.
The Mirasoul Flight Unit and the open-palm hands from the HGTWFM Mirasoul Flight Unit can be used on this Gunpla.

If one chooses, the upper thigh joints (C1+C17 and C2+C18) can be rotated and inverted for a better range of horizontal articulation, though it may result on a design-inaccurate side skirt armor placement due to being drooped down by the extra space.
