Kit Features & Gimmicks
- Hyaku Shiki's head can be applied with either one of the three eye stickers (Normal visor, red eyes, Image Directive Encode (IDE))
Articulation
- The head can swivel/tilt via a double-sided ball-joint neck.
- The torso can tilt sideways, or back and forth in a limited manner.
- Shoulder joints can swing forward.
- The arms can...
- Swivel on a ball-and-joint socket.
- Raise horizontally.
- The upper arms can rotate.
- The elbows and knees are double-jointed.
- The manipulators can swivel on a ball-and-socket joint.
- The waist can rotate.
- Front and side skirt armors can pivot to avoid interference with the leg articulation.
- The hip joint axis is a see-saw type joint.
- The upper thighs can swing frontwards (and backwards in a limited manner due to the non-poseable rear skirt armor) on a peg, raise horizontally and/or rotate on each piece.
- The ankles can tilt sideways or back and forth.
- The Binders on the backpack are poseable.
Weapons/Other Gimmicks
- The hands are swappable.
- Any of the weapons can be wielded by the default hands.
- Clay Bazooka can latch onto either side of the backpack.
- Beam Saber hilts can be optionally detached from the rear waist as handheld weapons.
- Hyaku Shiki can mount onto any Action Bases. (Sold separately)
Tips & Tricks
- For better results, some/most of the details are needed to be applied and panel-lined with Gundam Markers and/or Mr. Color Paints.
- Topcoat (Mr. Hobby recommended) can be used to protect applied stickers and if any, marking decals and paint details.
- If using matte/flat-finish top coat, it is advisable not to spray on the clear/translucent parts - can be done by masking or spraying top coat while the said parts are separated.
- For better results on the gold paint, paint the molded gold parts with Gold, Clear Yellow, and a hint on Clear Orange.
- Or alternatively, use GSI Creos' Gundam Color Hyaku Shiki Gold paint. (sold separately.)
Customizing-based tips
- The Mega Bazooka launcher from the HGUC Hyaku Shiki + Mega Bazooka Launcher set can be used for this kit.
