Tips & Tricks
- For better results, some or most of the details are needed to be painted/panel-lined with Gundam Markers or Mr. Color paints.
- Topcoat (Mr. Hobby recommended) can be used to protect applied stickers and if any, marking decals and painted details.
- If using matte/flat-finish top coat, it is advisable not to spray on the translucent parts - can be done by masking or spraying top coat while the said parts are separated.
- Beam Sabers from the SB-6 runner can be used for this kit.
- The safety flag on the radar can be optionally trimmed off, but caution is needed while handling.
- Care must be taken while removing the Bullpup machine gun (or any other compatible weapons) from the one-piece trigger hand: excessive force can potentially snap off the index finger, so the safest way is slowly removing it, starting from the dorsal parts.
Customizing-based tips
- The backpack can be used for the HGUC GM Command Space Type to form the Guinea Pig Team's iteration of the GM Command.
- For better results, one must sculpt an inner camera piece for the head to cover the bare socket.
- High Detail Manipulator 49 can be used for this kit.
- The 1/144 c.o.v.e.r.-kit RGM-79SP GM Sniper II garage kit can be used to remodel this Gunpla into GM Sniper II.
Variants
- Reissues of the Gunpla from September 2018 onward will feature a blue Bandai Spirits logo.
