Kit Features & Gimmicks
Articulation
- The head can swivel/tilt on a double-sided ball-and-socket neck joint.
- Shoulder joint can swing frontwards.
- The arms can...
- Swivel on a ball-and-socket joint.
- Raise horizontally.
- The upper arms can rotate.
- The elbows are double-jointed.
- The manipulators can swivel on a ball-and-socket joint.
- The waist can rotate, though in a somewhat limited manner.
- Front and side skirt armors can pivot to avoid interference with the leg articulation.
- The hip joint axis can swing front/backwards on one side.
- The upper thighs can swing frontward (and backward in a limited extent) on a peg, raise horizontally, and/or rotate on each piece.
- The knee joint can only be bent up to 110 degrees,
- The ankles can tilt/pivot in a mostly limited manner.
- The sub-arms only features 3 points of articulation.
Weapons/Other Gimmicks
- The hands are swappable.
- Each of the weapons must be wielded by their respective hands.
- Beam Sabers can be optionally removed from the backpack as handheld weapons.
- Large Beam Cannon and/or Missile Pod can pivot up or down.
- Rocket Booster can optionally detach from the backpack.
- Full Armor Gundam can mount onto the included display stand or onto any Action Bases. (Sold separately)
Tips & Tricks
- For better results, some or most of the details are needed to be applied/panel-lined with Gundam Markers and/or Mr. Color paints.
- Topcoat (Mr. Hobby recommended) can be used to protect applied stickers/marking decals and if any, painted details.
Variants
- Future reissues of the Gunpla from 2018 onward will feature a blue Bandai Spirits logo.
Notes & Trivia
- Differences between the original HGGT include: The white is slightly bluish, the dark gray is now black, and the blue is now slightly darker.
