Kit Features & Gimmicks
Italicized lines are optional gimmicks.
Articulation
- The head can swivel on a ball-joint, or slightly tilt back and forth on a c-clip pivot joint.
- Monoeye features a gear mechanism that moves when the head is turned sideways.
- The torso can tilt back and forth (though slightly) via an L-shaped joint frame.
- Shoulder joints and 2/3 of the torso blocks can slightly swing forward.
- The arms can...
- Swivel on a ball-and-socket joint.
- Raise horizontally. (The shoulder armors are jointed to avoid interference with the arm's articulation.)
- The upper arms can rotate.
- Arms and Legs feature double-jointed elbow/knee parts.
- The manipulators can swivel on a ball-and-socket joint.
- The waist can rotate, though it's limited to tilting due to the movement pipes.
- Front and side skirt armors are poseable (though slightly) to avoid interference with the leg articulation.
- The hip joint axis can swing forwards (for extra articulation) and backwards.
- The upper thigh joints can swing frontward (or backward in a limited extent) on a peg, raise horizontally, and/or rotate on each thigh.
- The ankle joints can pivot, or tilt sideways in a limited manner.
- Front foot pieces can pivot.
Weapons/Other Gimmicks
- The head unit can be swapped with the standard officer's unit.
- The hands are swappable.
- Each of the weapons must be wielded by their own respective hands.
- Heat Hawk (storing)Â can mount on both sides of the waist armor.
- Machine Gun foregrip and/or stock can flip out.
- Shield can be clipped onto either of the forearms via an adapter, though the default position is on the left.
- Bugu can mount onto most of the Action Bases via an adapter.
Tips & Tricks
- For better results, some or most of the details are needed to be applied & panel-lined with Gundam Markers and/or Mr. Color paints.
- Topcoat (Mr. Hobby recommended) can be used to protect applied stickers/marking decals and if any, painted details.
- Although the instructions tell you to mount the Heat Hawk (storing) in a vertical position, it was not actually possible due to the hindrance of the movement pipes. The only way to counter this is to mount the accessory with the upper axe facing in the same way as the HGGTO Zakus.Â
