The head can rotate/tilt on a single ball-joint neck.
The arms can swivel/raise horizontally on a ball-joint.
The upper elbows can turn.
Arm joints can be bent up to 120 degrees.
The manipulators can swivel/pivot on the front end of the forearms' ball-joint.
The waist can rotate in a mostly limited extent.
The upper thigh can tilt forwards/backwards (due to being used with transformation), and/or splay horizontally on a ball joint.
Leg joints can be bent up to 80 degrees.
The ankles can swivel on a ball-joint.
Wing units can fold into two different arrangements in MS mode.

Any of the weapons can be wielded by the Union Flag's default hands.
The Defense Rod can attach onto any of the forearms.
Union Flag can convert into Flight Mode.
The panel underneath the crotch can be removed to reveal a 3mm mounting point for any Action Bases, where the Union Flag (either Mobile Suit or Flight Modes) can mount onto.

For better results, some or most of the details are needed to be applied with Gundam Markers and/or Mr. Color paints.
Topcoat (Mr. Hobby recommended) can be used to protect applied stickers and if any, marking decals and painted details.
- If using matte/flat-finish top coat, it is advisable not to spray on the clear/translucent and the soft parts - can be done by masking or spraying top coat while the said parts are separated.
Care must be taken while painting the ABS joints: Using enamel paint or excessive lacquer paint layer can damage the plastic.
Make sure you pull up the head first (which releases the waist lock mechanism) before converting back to MS mode.

Italicized items are exclusives, while strikethrough lines are canceled items.

To date, this Gunpla has yet (though unlikely) to be retooled into a HG00 iteration of the Union Flag Custom II/GN Flag.
