100% NEW TOOLING!
Marseillaise was a French light cruiser of the La Galissonnière class. She was at Toulon when WWII was declared and participated in the transport of gold to Canada in 1940.
After the French surrender, she returned to Toulon. The ship was sabotaged by her crew and set on fire. The captain did not want the Germans to capture the ship. Scuttling charges were set and the sea valves opened. The ship capsized and burned for 7 days. The hulk was scrapped in 1946-47.
