The M51A1 dump truck is a derivative of the M54 truck, and was used during the Vietnam War. AFV Club's 1/35-scale model kit features a loading platform that can be raised and lowered; the front wheel steering is movable, and the interior of the cabin is precisely reproduced. The drive system is also carefully duplicated, with the chassis and suspension mechanism accurately reproduced thanks to research conducted on actual examples of the vehicle. Photo-etched parts and plastic tire parts are included, and painting guides and decals for four different Vietnam War-era versions are included as well.Â
