AZTEK AIRBRUSHES

Aztek, the Versatile Airbrushing System

No Needle Adjustment! Unlike most airbrushes, Aztek lays down a full range of effects without time-consuming, complex needle adjustments. Simplicity is the product of patented, durable, sealed nozzles...each for a special effect. Move quickly from one spray pattern to another by simply installing a different nozzle. Nozzles are interchangeable among all internal mix Aztek airbrushes.

Aztek Is The Easiest To Clean

Cleaning any other airbrush requires extensive disassembly. This is because the whole thing, from the inside out, is covered with paint. Small (and sometimes fragile) internal components must be thoroughly cleaned before another color is loaded. Aztek airbrushes are easy to clean because media travels from the cup directly to and through the nozzle--bypassing the airbrush body entirely. Only the nozzle requires cleaning and this is accomplished by "spraying through" with solvent (or water for acrylics), or simply soaking. Aztek nozzles are impervious to all known cleaning agents. The airbrush body needs little attention.

Aztek Needs No Spare Parts

Because you never disassemble an Aztek, you won't lose or damage hardware. Use another airbrush, and you'll need a box of spare parts.

Aztek Is Versatile

The question is, what do you give up for simplicity and ease of use? Nothing! With practice, an Aztek airbrush will help you create any conceivable image. What's more, with a unique nozzle like the Spatter Nozzle, it is much easier to master advanced techniques.

Upgrade Any Time

Aztek manufactures a range of internal mix instruments--from single-action to full double-action--so you can match airbrush to project. Because parts are modular and interchangeable, you can upgrade to a more technical Aztek and use nozzles, cups, hoses and other accessories you already own.

Why Resin Rather Than Metal

Aztek airbrush bodies are made of an acetal resin copolymer. Acetal resin is used selectively by NASA in the space program because it is light, stable, and nearly unbreakable.* Acetal resin is superior for several reasons: unlike metal, it does not deteroriate through contact with solvents; and its manufacturing tolerances are much tighter than metal. Aztek airbrush parts simply fit better.

*Thanks to its durability, we offer a Lifetime Guarantee on the A430 and A470 airbrush bodies.

Aztek Is Comfortable

Because acetal resin parts are lighter than equivalent metal parts, Aztek airbrushes are more comfortable over the long haul. Hand and arm fatigue is greatly reduced. If you're accustomed to a heavier metal airbrush, Aztek's weight may initially surprise you but you'll learn to enjoy the benefits quickly.

Aztek Offers An Instructional Video

Aztek is the first airbrush manufacturer to offer a free instructional video.* Topics examined include set-up, basic operation, and a sequence of airbrushing tips and techniques.

*A video is included with Aztek models A270, 1000S, A320, A430 and A470.
